Acraft and exhibitions
Exhibitions are an integral part of marketing activities and one of the business tools that allow dealers to meet customers, business partners and suppliers. At exhibitions, pre-arranged deals can be closed or, conversely, exhibitions can start the whole buying process. Seeing and touching the machines can make many a partner consider entering into a cooperation. At Acraft professionals we can arrange for our partners to participate in selected trade fairs at home and abroad.
Last year's world exhibition Agritechnica held in Hannover, Germany, or this year's field days Naše pole in Bohemia are examples of two events that Acraft professionals s.r.o. clients decided to participate in as part of their business and marketing mix.
"The choice of the exhibition and participation is not a spontaneous decision, but a well-thought-out business and marketing move. We strategize with our clients for a partial business year, or other period, taking into account territorial needs, business objectives and consider participation/non-participation in the event. Agritechnica, for example, is a world-class exhibition where just attending is a prestigious affair, but the costs are also high. It is held in exhibition halls and during the event you have the opportunity to approach dealers from almost all over the world and negotiate with them for possible cooperation. In contrast, Field Days Naše pole, is an outdoor event focused on Czech farmers and agriculturalists themselves. The focus and targeting of the stand is adapted to this," says Pavel Jahoda, managing director of Acraft professionals s.r.o.
After the approval of participation in the event, in both cases, the role of the Acraft professionals s.r.o. team was to organize the construction of the stand and the transport of selected equipment, but also to operate the stand during the exhibitions.
"In the case of the German Agritechnica, everything started with the application and the subsequent creation of a stand design, which had to take into account our conditions, i.e. size, number of machines, size of facilities, safety conditions of the exhibition centre, but also the framework price for the stand construction. It was several months of preparation for the event. Field events are simpler in this case, so as we just draw the layout of the machines in the floor plan and the uni cell or party tent serves as a background, the organization of such an event takes a few weeks," says Jahoda.
The work didn't end with the set-up and construction of the stand. The role of Acraft professionals s.r.o. was also to provide marketing promotion before and during the event, to design a business event to attract interested parties, to provide printed materials (from creating texts, through graphics, to the final printing), video loops for screens, to invite journalists to the stand and to attend to them and other visitors during the fair.
The team of people also attended the exhibition itself and not only took care of business meetings, but also took care of the running of the stand, such as keeping it clean, checking the machines, or dealing with general enquiries from visitors in a friendly and helpful manner. He took care of the set-up and cleaning of the machines and, after the event, the safe loading and removal to the designated locations.
He regularly reported to his partners on the preparations, the progress of the events and with the end of the fair, he prepared a report with an evaluation of the entire exhibition. For international trade fairs, a minimum of two reports are prepared, with the second report being prepared with a longer time lag to take into account the long-term results and benefits of the exhibition.
And other events? "At the moment We are in the middle of preparations for participation in the Země Živitelka exhibition in České Budějovice at the end of August," adds Pavel Jahoda.
