New Disc Mower from ROZMITAL
Strojírny Rožmitál s.r.o. launched a new rear-mounted disc mower, the SD-300R, during the fall season. Equipped with a rubber roller conditioner, this model expands the product line of mowers with roller conditioners.
The new SD-300R disc mower, with a working width of 2.98 meters, is a rear-mounted model featuring a rubber roller conditioner that can be easily deactivated manually. Farmers can simply shift the top non-driven roller and lock it in the upper position, allowing forage to pass through freely without crimping. This versatility enables operators to adjust the machine to their current conditions and specific needs.
The SD-300R cutter bar, developed and manufactured directly by ROZMITAL, consists of seven discs with quick-attach blades, ensuring high performance and a precise cut. The bar is made from high-quality materials to withstand intensive daily use. The mower is equipped with comfortable hydro-pneumatic suspension and can be easily adjusted to the optimal working position. Thanks to its center-mounted suspension, the mower can efficiently follow the terrain with an angle range of +/-15°. The standard cutting height is adjustable between 4 and 8 cm, and the mower can be fitted with abrasion-resistant steel skids that increase stubble height by 20 or 50 mm, while also protecting the cutter bar from damage.
The cutter bar’s double-sided suspension and frame form a rigid unit, enhancing the structural integrity of the mowing assembly. To protect against obstacles, the mower is equipped with an adjustable safety mechanism that sharply deflects the cutter bar backward upon collision, significantly reducing ground pressure. Transportation is safe and easy, thanks to hydraulic folding and semi-automatic locking to prevent accidental drops. Adjustable lower linkage pins ensure quick and easy attachment to various types of tractors. The machine weighs 1150 kg and requires a minimum tractor power of 70 kW (95 HP). Low operating costs and simple maintenance make this mower ideal for users who value easy replacement of components.
